Program

Program The Journey of the Needle 2

Chair of the day: Jasmine Uddin (UK)

For the 2019 edition we work around 3 themes:

  1. Holism as unique selling point? : as acupuncturists, we perceive the unity of mind-body-spirit and the interconnectedness of all beings as an inseparable viewpoint while needling our patients. Is it still our unique selling point? And how typical is this feature for the so called ‘western acupuncture?’ And is it scientifically justifiable?
  2. From evidence to implementation: we like to emphasis successful initiatives of implemented acupuncture/needling interventions into Healthcare.
  3. Afternoon: variables of efficacious needling. The highlighted variable is Palpation!
